Fresh from securing their place in the Australia Cup Round of 32, Bayswater City were involved in another thriller in NPL WA but Perth RedStar returned to the top of the table.
Coby Sutton was again the hero, heading home late to rescue a 4-4 draw against Western Knights after the reigning champions had surrendered a two-goal lead.
Bayswater looked in control at 2-0 before Knights fought back to lead twice during a chaotic contest. Sutton's late equaliser earned a point, though it was not enough to keep Bayswater on top of the table.
RedStar seized that opportunity.
A stoppage-time winner from former Bayswater forward Gordon Smith secured a 2-1 victory over Perth Glory and lifted RedStar back to the summit with a game in hand.
Olympic Kingsway lost further ground after a surprise 3-0 home defeat to Stirling Macedonia.
Callum McKenzie converted two penalties to move outright top of the Golden Boot race with 13 goals, while Stirling closed the gap on the top four.
Perth Azzurri extended their unbeaten run to seven matches but were held to a 1-1 draw by struggling Balcatta Etna, while Armadale continued their resurgence with a 3-0 win over Sorrento to move clear of the relegation play-off position.
Fremantle City also backed up their historic Australia Cup qualification in style, defeating Dianella White Eagles 1-0 thanks to Shubham Mokala's second-half strike.
