Dionn Nigro is only 16 and on Sunday, the Sydney FC teenager produced the biggest moment of his young career.
The Sky Blues prospect scored a stunning stoppage-time winner against Wollongong Wolves, securing a dramatic 3-2 victory and celebrating the first NPL NSW goal of his career.
It was the final twist in an action-packed Round 20 that also saw APIA Leichhardt strengthen their grip on top spot.
In a match that swung from end to end, the Wolves twice took the lead through Kazuya Yamamura and Alex Masciovecchio, only for Sydney FC to respond through Caelan Marshall-Witte and Ryan Fowler.

Wollongong thought they had done enough to salvage a point despite suffering a fourth consecutive defeat, but Nigro had other ideas, producing the decisive moment of individual brilliance in the 91st minute to lift Sydney FC to within a point of the top six.

At the top of the table, APIA continued their march towards the premiership with a 3-1 comeback win over Blacktown City.
Sebastian Hayward stunned the league leaders with a third-minute opener, but APIA responded through Presley Ortiz before Michael Konestabo put them ahead after the break. Ortiz then sealed the result with his second goal of the afternoon as APIA maintained their two-point advantage atop the standings.
Marconi Stallions kept pace thanks to a hard-fought 1-0 win over 10-man UNSW FC.
Sydney United also strengthened their premiership challenge with a 1-0 victory over SD Raiders.
The contest changed dramatically inside the opening stages when Ethan Beaven was sent off for denying a clear goalscoring opportunity. The Raiders defended bravely for long periods, but substitute Leroy Jennings eventually broke the deadlock to secure the points.

Sutherland Sharks maintained their place in the top six with an impressive 3-0 away win over Western Sydney Wanderers.
