From 4-1 down, to 6-4 win: Capital Football's wild weekend

Four goals down. Top of the table by full-time.
Tuggeranong United produced one of the comebacks of the Australian state league season in Round 7 of NPL Capital Football.
Trailing Canberra Olympic 4-1 in a chaotic first half, Tuggeranong somehow erupted for five unanswered goals to complete a stunning 6-4 victory against 10 men and climb to the summit.
Anthony Antoniak scored twice as the league’s new leaders, who have not won a championship since 1992, turned complete disaster into a statement win.
The result opened the door after Monaro Panthers’ flawless start to 2026 finally came crashing down.
The Panthers fell 2-1 to O’Connor Knights in a fiery clash that produced three red cards, including two for Monaro, before Chanho Park punished the nine-man visitors.
Despite the defeat, Monaro remain firmly in the title race, sitting second and just three points off top spot with a game in hand.
Elsewhere, Aidan Milicevic, Joshua Milicevic and Michael Southam were all on target as Tigers FC edged Belconnen United 3-2 in another thriller.
