A famous surname is returning to Adelaide City, with Joshua Mori joining the NPL South Australia champions for their 2026 Australian Championship campaign.
Mori returns to Oakden after spending the 2026 NPL SA season with Campbelltown City, adding another attacking option as Adelaide prepare to represent South Australia on the national stage.
For the 28-year-old, however, the move also represents a homecoming.
Mori came through Adelaide City’s junior system before forging his own senior career elsewhere in South Australian football.
And his connection to the Black and Whites runs considerably deeper.
His father, former Socceroo Damian Mori, is one of the most recognisable names in Adelaide City history, having starred for the club during his decorated playing career.
Joshua will now get the opportunity to pull on the same colours as his father on the national stage, joining a City side heading into the Australian Championship after a memorable 2026 campaign in which they were crowned NPL SA champions.
