More than 200 games, an A-League academy and NPL experience: A familiar face returns to lead Boroondara Eagles
Boroondara Eagles have turned to one of their own to lead the club's senior men's program, appointing former player Sean Vah as head coach.
Vah returns to Boroondara where he made more than 200 senior appearances following the departure of club great Manny Koutroulis, bringing experience from Western United's academy and the NPL Victoria coaching ranks.
His association with Boroondara extends well beyond his playing career, having previously coached across the club's youth boys and senior women's programs while developing his credentials through the Eagles' internal coaching pathway.
That foundation helped Vah progress into the professional environment at Western United, where he worked at academy level, before taking on a senior assistant coaching role at Melbourne Knights in NPL VIC.
He has also attained his AFC A Diploma, adding to a coaching resume built across grassroots, academy and senior football.
For Boroondara, the appointment represents an opportunity to bring a familiar figure back to the club with a broader range of experience and a strong understanding of its culture.
The Eagles believe Vah's connection to the club, alongside his commitment to developing young players, will prove valuable as he takes charge of the senior men's team.
