Can anyone stop Medin Memeti? The Melbourne City teenager is one of, if not, the highest player in NPL VIC right now.

Two games. Six goals. Just look at his performance against Green Gully under the Friday night lights.

The 18-year-old forward scored twice as City overpowered bottom side Green Gully 3-1, including a stunning long-range strike.

Memeti riffled a thunderous effort off the post and into the back of the net as Gully’s goalkeeper could only watch helplessly.

This, after the young gun scored four goals in City’s humiliation of Bentleigh Greens 7-0.

Memeti ended the 2025-26 campaign with six goals across all competitions - five in the A-League Men and one in the AFC Champions League Elite.

It was well and truly a breakout season for another of City’s products.
