Perth Azzurri are through to their first NPL WA Top Four Cup final since 2021 after stunning Olympic Kingsway 2-0.

Fittingly, the competition’s most prolific marksman did the damage - Pieter Jacobsz, fresh from claiming an extraordinary third consecutive NPL WA Golden Boot, struck twice to send Kenny Lowe’s side into Saturday’s decider.

Jacobsz opened the scoring after just eight minutes on Tuesday night with a superb curling finish before calmly adding his second late in the contest.

The margin could have been greater, with Kingsway goalkeeper Adrian Sinagra producing a string of excellent saves, including a brilliant tip onto the crossbar to deny David Ninkovich.

It sets up a familiar showdown for the silverware.

Azzurri will face old rivals and back-to-back NPL WA Premiers Bayswater City at the Sam Kerr Football Centre, with their first Top Four Cup triumph since 2021 within reach.
