Sutherland Sharks continued their remarkable surge up the NPL NSW standings with a famous 3-2 win over title contenders APIA Leichhardt.
The victory was Sutherland's first against APIA in more than a decade and their sixth in seven matches, lifting David Perkovic's in-form side to fourth.
New signing Diego Bonilla made an immediate impact with a stunning long-range goal after Presley Ortiz's double had put APIA ahead, before Joshua van Amerongen struck late to secure a third consecutive win for the Sharks.

League leaders Marconi Stallions extended their unbeaten run with a 2-0 victory over St George FC. Franco Maya broke the deadlock with a superb long-range strike before Jack Armson sealed the points.
That result, coupled with APIA’s loss, saw Marconi move four points clear at the summit.
Western Sydney Wanderers ended a four-game winless run by beating lowly Sydney Olympic 2-1 despite Sebastian Kukucka scoring for the visitors after being set up by new signing Panos Armenakas.
UNSW snapped a four-game losing streak with a 3-2 win over Sydney FC, while Samuel Griffiths scored the only goal as Manly United extended their unbeaten run to four matches against SD Raiders.
Wollongong Wolves fought back from two goals down in a thrilling 3-3 draw with St George City - ending their five-game losing streak, while Blacktown City climbed out of the relegation zone after a 0-0 draw with Sydney United.
Elsewhere, Sam Armson scored in the second half as NWS Spirit earned a 1-1 draw away to Rockdale Ilinden.
