One of Victorian football's most famous surnames is returning to Preston
The Lazarevski name already holds a special place at Preston Lions. Now, another chapter is about to be written.
NPL VIC giants Preston have secured the signature of talented young striker Daniel Lazarevski, with the Australia youth international arriving at the club where his famous father Nick established himself as one of Victorian football's most respected figures.
For Preston supporters, the surname is a familiar one. For Daniel, however, the challenge is creating his own legacy.
The young attacker arrives with an impressive football resume already.
He has spent time in the academy systems of Melbourne Victory and Western United, earned an A-League contract for the 2025-26 season, represented Australia at the AFF U16 Championship and featured for North Macedonia's Under-18 national team.
Now, he follows a path his father once walked.
While comparisons are inevitable, Daniel has already shown he possesses the talent to forge his own identity in the game.
Preston believe they have secured one of Victorian football's most exciting young prospects.
And in a fitting twist, the next chapter of the Lazarevski story will unfold in familiar colours.
