Canberra Croatia and Tigers FC will meet for silverware once more after booking their places in the NPL Capital Football Grand Final.

Premiers Canberra Croatia edged Queanbeyan City 1-0 at Deakin Stadium to return to the decider after missing out last season.

After Queanbeyan threatened early, Mikey Katsoulis delivered the decisive moment three minutes into the second half, finishing calmly after Shandon Whitehead pounced on a turnover.

Tigers FC, meanwhile, had to do it the hard way.

Trailing Monaro Panthers 1-0 at half-time, David Owusu dragged Tigers level in the 67th minute before Canadian attacker Spencer Barber struck late to complete the 2-1 comeback and send his side into the Grand Final.

It was another huge moment from Barber and another comeback from Tigers, who overturned a deficit for the second finals match running.

The result sets up another chapter between two of the ACT’s heavyweights, with Canberra Croatia and Tigers FC preparing to battle for another trophy.
