Bayswater City have turned NPL WA into their own. The silverware keeps coming

Bayswater City reinforced their status as the benchmark of NPL WA, completing back-to-back Premiership-Championship doubles with a 2-0 victory over Perth Azzurri in the Top Four Cup Final.

Cameron Teece was the difference at the Sam Kerr Football Centre, scoring twice as Matthew Sparrow’s side added another trophy to an increasingly dominant period for the club.

Bayswater entered the finals as back-to-back Premiers after finishing six points clear at the top of the NPL WA table, but their path to another Championship was anything but straightforward.

They found themselves 3-0 down inside just 18 minutes of their Top Four Cup semi-final against Olympic Kingsway before producing one of the comebacks of the season, scoring five times to win 5-3 and book their place in the decider.

Perth Azzurri arrived in the final with momentum of their own after beating Perth RedStar and Olympic Kingsway, but Bayswater again proved too strong when silverware was on the line.

Teece's brace secured a 2-0 victory and ensured Bayswater finished another impressive campaign with both of the competition's major honours.

It continues a remarkable period of success for the club.

Bayswater have now won a record five Premierships since the NPL WA era began, while Sunday’s triumph was their fourth Championship and second in succession.

Their only major disappointment of 2026 came in the State Cup Final, where Fremantle City denied them the chance to sweep the major domestic honours.

Bayswater’s season is not finished yet. As NPL WA premiers, they will now take that form onto the national stage in the Australian Championship.
