A trophy and a piece of club history: An FK Beograd tenure is over

FK Beograd have confirmed the departure of head coach Adrian D’Aloia, bringing an end to his three-year tenure at the NPL SA club.

D’Aloia departs after overseeing a successful period at Beograd, where he guided the side to consecutive NPL SA finals appearances across the past two seasons.

But it was 2026 that delivered the defining achievement of his time in charge.

Beograd lifted the Federation Cup, securing the club’s first piece of silverware under D’Aloia and, with it, qualification for the Australia Cup Round of 32 for the first time in their history.

Their season eventually ended in the NPL SA elimination final against Playford City, but D’Aloia leaves having helped establish Beograd as a consistent finals contender while also taking the club onto the national Australia Cup stage.

“The club would like to share its sincere appreciation for Adrian’s immense work, dedication, and commitment over his three-year tenure,” Beograd said in a statement.

“We thank Adrian for his tireless service to our badge, our players, and our community. He leaves FK Beograd on a high note, and he will always be warmly welcomed back at Frank Mitchell Park.”
